Washington, DC, 2022 – HTA Technology Security Consulting (HTA) is proud to announce that our President & CEO, Michelle Chaudry, graduated from the fall 2021 cohort 30 of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business program. In addition to the rigorous challenges and goals met, Chaudry joined the graduating cohort as 1 of 26 small business owners from Illinois, alongside more than 140 founders from 37 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico. The purpose of the program is to provide small business owners with the tools to further promote and build their business by establishing short and long-term goals and developing a solid plan to achieve them. “This process has been an intense, brilliant, and exhilarating challenge exercise with time management and balancing my personal and professional demands. I found it gave me new energy and focus that was very timely due to how mentally draining this pandemic had become.”
The highly selective program operates on an alumni recommendation status. After submitting applications, the pool narrowed as finalists advanced to the interview stage. Only 164 scholars were accepted into the National Fall 2021 Cohort, of which about 140 graduated from the program. In addition to the skills learned and strengthened, participants use this opportunity to create further connections and networks to solidify their support system. Speaking after graduation, Chaudry also said, ” The program allowed me to take opportunities to experience and express my ideas. You can expect to be primarily involved with expanding your awareness through imagination and vision. You will be asking yourself how the program affects you during the 16 weeks by paying attention to how your answers to the questions like ‘What is my vision?’ change.”
In collaboration with Babson College, Goldman Sachs developed the curriculum to focus on the practical business skills that small business owners can apply immediately, helping them gain the tools needed for growth. Since 2009, nearly 12,400 small business owners have completed the program.
